Poon Choi Festival
Leih hou,
This week has
been really fun week. To start it off I went with Elder Siddoway (Douh)
to a Chinese temple in Siu Hong. Then we went to the beach to play
some beach volleyball! It was super fun and it was really good to see
Wyatt! Then after Pday ended The Chan Family in our ward invited us over
to dinner. The food was classic Chinese food like pig skin which is
pretty gross but i just tried to eat it as fast as I could. Then we
taught them a lesson! They are a super nice family and really willing to
help the missionaries!
On Tuesday
nothing much happened but a less active invited us over for dinner as
well! So we taught him about the importance of testimonies and not
giving your testimony up for anything like Almulek in Alma 11. Then
later he has called us to give him a priesthood blessing!
Wednesday was just normal Crossroads day.
Thursday
we got to play soccer for 2 hours because we had two different
investigators that scheduled to play soccer with us at two different
times! This was really fun because I haven't been able to play soccer
that long since before my mission! It was great and both lessons went
super well!
Friday
nothing much happened. We just attended English class because one of our
investigators goes so we got to help him learn English. '
Saturday we taught our kids English class. The kids were wild like always haha.
Sunday
was church and then our bishop had us over for dinner and we got to
know them better. His wife is from the Indonesia and she
didn't know Cantonese when she first got here but now her Cantonese is
really flawless and that has been a huge example to me.
That is all! I would love to hear from you all!
